The names of the
butterflies in the cases are listed beneath the pictures, with the country of collection
under the name.

The numbers next to the names
relate to the collector's original hand written notes. The numbers represent
species/subspecies, rather than individual specimen numbers. You can access these original
species notes by clicking on the underlined names. This will open a PDF document of the
relevant page of notes. Locate the correct number on the page to access information on
dates and places of collection of that particular species.
Explanations to help the reader
to interpret the Collector's Notes are available here.
